This scholarship will assist one (1) Denver North High School Graduating Senior per year to further their interest in selecting real estate as a career.

This scholarship will cover a maximum of $1,500 toward tuition, fees, and books related to completion of the 168 course hours required for obtaining a Colorado Real Estate Broker license. Money will be made payable to a State approved Qualifying Education Provider. Additionally, recipient will receive one-on-one mentorship opportunity including weekly meetings throughout education courses and license testing. 

Requirements:

- Must be a graduating Senior from Denver North High School.

- NO GPA requirement as long as student meets graduating requirement.

- Student must provide minimum of one (1) letter of recommendation.

- Student commits to weekly mentor/study meeting (no more than 1 hour) while enrolled in education courses.

- Student must submit an essay detailing their interest to work in the real estate field; Acceptable essays submissions will be written (500 words or less) or video (3:00 or less).

This scholarship may be used toward the payment of tuition, fees, and books, but may not be applied to such incidental expenses as travel, etc. 

Scholarship funds must be used within 12 months of the award date, may only be drawn once, and cannot exceed the maximum award of $1,500.
